While continuing the #SOLIDARITECOVID19CIV caravan alongside the Magic System Foundation and the European Union, which contributed to donate 5000 kits with living and non-living essentials, the Didier Drogba Foundation distributed nearly 15,000 kits to populations in precarious situations, in the spirit of mutual aid during this difficult period, initiating a new action against Covid-19 for young children.
Starting on May 12, 2020, during a visit to the oncology service at Treichville University Hospital Center and the SOS Village in Abobo, the Didier Drogba Foundation and its partner PROSUMA aimed to provide 3600 "life kits" worth over 12 million CFA francs to various hospital services and institutions for socially disadvantaged children in Abidjan and across the country over a period of 10 days.
The "life kits" include food items such as rice bags, oil bottles, spaghetti packs, cheese, noodles, as well as hygiene and cleaning products like hydroalcoholic gel, bleach, soap, and insecticides.
The Didier Drogba Foundation is dedicated to supporting the most disadvantaged. Since children are the future, they are central to our mission. We deeply appreciate your generous contributions and support.
