The Didier Drogba Foundation transferred Nobel Yao, suffering from leukemia, to the Cantonal Hospital of Geneva in Switzerland.

Despite the personal bond Drogba formed with the child, Nobel Yao unfortunately did not survive. This experience led Drogba to make health one of the main pillars of his foundation.
