Didier Drogba has a heart of gold. Indeed, the foundation brought immense joy to the children of the Military Preparatory and Technical School of Bingerville and Notre Dame Primary School on Thursday, October 24, 2019.

With the IPPON Foundation as a partner, the former captain of the Elephants donated digital classrooms to two educational institutions. Following the schools in Vitré 1 (Bassam) and Sainte Marie (Cocody), Bingerville completed the first year of multimedia classroom donations. With IPPON as a partner, Didier Drogba has established a plan to donate four digital classrooms each year in multiple schools.

For the former international footballer, also CEO of the Goals for Africa Holding (Gfa), these digital schools will enable students from Notre Dame Primary School and the EMPT of Bingerville to open themselves to the outside world. A significant act for the students of both institutions, strongly appreciated by Sister Irène (Representative of Notre Dame) and Lieutenant-Colonel Danho Josue Parfait (Commander of EMPT), and Colonel Jean Hubert Ouassenan (Second Commander of schools and training centers). They renewed their commitment before Didier Drogba and Auguste Barbier, project manager of IPPON-Africa.

Founded in 2007, the Didier Drogba Foundation is a charitable foundation working in the fields of education, health, and empowerment of populations.
