For many years, the Didier Drogba Foundation has been alongside populations, working to raise awareness and screen for cardiovascular diseases. These diseases are a scourge as they are one of the major causes of mortality. A mobile heart clinic equipped travels through the country's most remote areas to assist the most vulnerable populations.

The Ministry of Public Health and Hygiene of Côte d'Ivoire, a historical partner of the Foundation, organized a major event on September 29, 2023, in the commune of Yopougon on the occasion of World Heart Day under the theme "Health for All". During this event, Didier Drogba, President of the Didier Drogba Foundation, was appointed Ambassador for the Fight Against Cardiovascular Diseases in recognition of his commitment.

Ms. Gabrielle Lemaire, Vice-President of the Foundation, represented the President at this important event. The day was marked by awareness and screening activities aimed at informing and protecting the population against these deadly conditions.
